PNB Profit Peso Bond Fund Sees Success at Vision 2025 with Best Managed Fund Award

Philippine National Bank’s (PSE: PNB) Profit Peso Bond Fund was recognized as one of the Best Managed Funds for 2025 under the Intermediate Term Bond Funds using pure FVPL valuation category. The award was presented at the “Vision 2025: Market Forecast and Fund Excellence” event hosted by the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) Society of the Philippines at Discovery Primea, Makati City.
Now in its 10th year, the event honors firms for their innovation, ethical standards, and outstanding fund performance. Awardees were evaluated based on key metrics such as risk-adjusted returns for actively managed funds and tracking error for index funds. This year, 170 qualified funds from 16 investment houses and trust institutions competed across multiple categories, with only 20 funds earning the distinction of being named Best Managed Funds.
The PNB Profit Peso Bond Fund is invested in a portfolio of fixed income securities with a weighted average maturity of more than one year. It is designed for investors with a moderate risk tolerance. Clients can invest in the fund with a minimum participation of Php 10,000 through PNB branches or as low as Php 2,000 via PNB UITF Online.
“This recognition reflects our commitment to helping investors grow their wealth with a balanced approach to risk—for those looking for steady returns while staying prepared for market changes. We remain focused on providing well-managed investment solutions that align with our clients’ financial goals,” said Jiah Santos, Trust Banking Group Head and Chief Trust Officer.
