Qualifications

New to Bank
  1. Has NO principal PNB Credit Card yet (must be new-to-bank)
  2. Between 21- 65 years of age
  3. Have a minimum annual income of at least P120,000.00
  4. Filipino Citizen residing in the Philippines
  5. If employed, must be a regular employee or if self-employed, business must be profitable for at least 2 years.
  6. For foreign national, applicant must also submit either A or B of the following:
    1. Passport, Alien Certificate of Residence (ACR), Proof of billing (for non-carded or non-depositor), And any of the following: National ID, Internal Revenue Service (IRS) ID, Social Security Number (SSN) ID, Driver’s License, Work permit issued by DOLE (mandatory requirement) if employed in the Philippines, Company ID issued by private entities or institutions registered with or supervised or regulated either by the BSP, SEC or IC
    2. Passport, Unexpired Philippine Retirement Authority ID (PRA) or Special Resident Retiree’s Visa (SRRV), Proof of billing (for non-carded or non-depositor), And any of the following: Bureau of Immigration Approved Order, Certificate of Deposit issued by the Bank where the PRA/Visa is deposited

New to Bank

How to Join the Promo

  2. Verify the “I am not a Robot” and click New Credit Card Application.
  3. Choose from any PNB Mastercard variant.
  4. Confirm if existing PNB Credit Cardholder or not.
    1. Applicant should click “NO” to confirm if with existing PNB Credit Card.
    2. Read and agree with the Terms and Conditions.
    3. Fill out the application form and upload needed documents.
  5. After clicking Submit, a reference number will be reflected to confirm your application and the same will be send thru your registered declared email.
    Documentary requirements are the following:
    1. One (1) Valid Government issued photo-bearing ID with signature (e.g. Driver’s License, Passport, TIN, SSS ID, Unified Multi-Purpose ID)
    2. For foreign national, applicant must also submit either A or B of the following:
      1. Working Foreign Nationals in the Philippines
        Passport, Alien Certificate of Residence (ACR), Proof of billing (for non-carded or non-depositor), And any of the following: National ID, Internal Revenue Service (IRS) ID, Social Security Number (SSN) ID, Driver’s License, Work permit issued by DOLE (mandatory requirement) if employed in the Philippines, Company ID issued by private entities or institutions registered with or supervised or regulated either by the BSP, SEC or IC
      2. Resident Foreign Nationals

    Certificate of Employment stating date hired, position, and gross income OR Latest Income Tax Return OR Latest 3 months payslip OR active principal credit card (with at least 1 year membership) Latest Audited Financial Statements OR Latest Income Tax Return OR Copy of registration papers with DTI or SEC OR active principal credit card (with at least 1 year membership)
    Note: All BDO cardholder-applicants, will be required to submit copy of the following:
    • Front panel of the BDO card – to check on the tenure which can be seen in the member since portion. Note that card tenure requirement for carded applicants is at least 12 months.
    • 1-month Latest BDO statement of account – to check on the CL, recent payment mode (if paying in full or partial), Outstanding Balance, billing address, etc.

  5. Qualified transactions should be any of the following transacted and subsequently posted during the period: straight or retail purchases, in-store installment purchases, cash advance transactions, bills payment, or online purchases. Each installment transaction will be considered as one transaction amount.
  6. Approved card holders have until March 31, 2022 to reach the accumulated spend of atleast P10,000 to qualify. Last crediting of Cash Rebate to qualified card holders is on April 2022.
  7. Applications received by December 31, 2021 are still qualified for the Cash Rebate provided their application is approved and the card is activated and the required usage is met by March 31, 2022.

  3. What are the acceptable proof of income when applying for a PNB Credit Card?
    If employed, submit ANY of the following If self-employed or practicing professional, submit the following
    • Recent one month payslips with gross or net base income of atleast Php10,000 (excluding commissions, incentives and other benefits)
    • Original Certificate of Employment, stating Gross Income, Date Hired, and Position, with monthly compensation of atleast Php10,000 (excluding commissions, incentives and other benefits)
    • Latest Income Tax Return with atleast Php120,000
    • Active principal credit card (with at least 1 year membership)
    • Audited Financial Statements (Balance Sheet and Income Statement for the last 2 years)
    • Latest Income Tax Return (ITR) with BIR or Bank validation
    Note: All BDO cardholder-applicants, will be required to submit copy of the following:
    1. Front panel of the BDO card – to check on the tenure which can be seen in the member since portion. Note that card tenure requirement for carded applicants is at least 12 months.

APPLICATION PROCESS

  1. Where can I apply online for PNB Credit Card?
    You may apply online via http://bit.ly/PNB-InternetBanking. You will be redirected to PNB Internet Banking where you may choose from any PNB Credit Card to apply for.
    • Applicant should click “NO” to confirm if with existing PNB Credit Card. Applicant will choose from any PNB Mastercard variant. To apply, fill out application form and upload necessary documents. Once done, applicant shall submit application.
    Important Notes:
    • Compile the following in one (1) PDF file before proceeding with your application:
      • One (1) Valid Government issued photo-bearing ID with signature.
      • One (1) Latest proof of income
      • Selfie with your Government issued photo-bearing ID with signature (must be the same ID used for the application)
    • Refresh the browser or use a private browser if you are encountering difficulty with the CAPTCHA
    • If for any reason you were not able to finish or submit your application, you may continue your application. Please refer to the email sent to you after completing the Personal Information page.

  2. How will I know if my application was successfully submitted?
    You will receive on your registered email address, a confirmation email containing reference number from PNB Cards.
  3. How can I check the status of my PNB Credit Card application?
    You may also check it via PNB Internet Banking. Click Credit Card Application Status Inquiry and input your Reference Number, Date of Birth, and ID Number.
    You may check the status of your application by calling the PNB Cards Customer Service Hotline at (+632) 8818 9818 (From Main Menu, Select Option 3 – Other PNB Credit Cards, Sub Option 4 – Other Credit Card Services, Sub Option 2 – Application Status) or by sending an email to pnbcreditcards@pnb.com.ph.
  4. How long is the application process?
    Standard processing of new to bank application is from 10 to 15 banking days upon receipt of application with complete requirements. Standard processing of Nth card application is 5 banking days upon receipt of application.
  5. Will I receive any call from PNB Credit Cards?
    You will receive a call from PNB Credit Cards for the applicant verification and/or submission of any lacking documents needed.
  6. How long will the delivery of the card take?
    1. Metro Manila: 5-7 banking days
    2. Nearby provinces (Rizal, Batangas, Cavite, Bulacan): 9-12 banking days
    3. Other provinces: 12-17 banking days
    Delivery may extend due to varying local government restrictions in accordance with community quarantine.

CASH REBATE PROMO

  1. Who are qualified for the promo?
    For P5,000 Cash Rebate, all PNB Cardholders with new-to-bank, principal PNB Mastercard Credit Card who:
    1. Applied and submitted application requirements online through PNB Internet Banking within the Promo Period and are subsequently approved
    2. Do not have an existing principal PNB Credit Card upon application
    3. Approved of any PNB Mastercard Credit Card
    4. Spend P10,000 accumulated spend or single receipt in one statement cycle within 60 days after card delivery using their PNB Mastercard Credit Card.
  2. What transactions are qualified for this promo?
    Qualified transactions shall be straight purchases, installment purchases, cash advance transactions, bills payment, and online purchases transacted and subsequently posted during the period. Each installment transaction will be considered as one transaction amount.
  3. Are existing PNB Cardholders qualified for this promo?
    Existing cardholders are not qualified to have P5,000 Cash Rebate.
  4. Are all type of PNB Credit Cards qualified for this promo?
    This promo is exclusive to any PNB Mastercard Credit Card approved and with the specified usage within the promo period only.
  5. 5. How will I know if I have received the Cash Rebate?
    The Cash Rebate will be reflected in your next billing statement.
  6. When is the duration of the promo?
    The promo is valid from October 22, 2021 to December 31, 2021.
  7. Will I still qualify if I submit an application on December 31, 2021?
    Applications received by December 31, 2021 are still qualified for the Cash Rebate provided their application is approved and the card is activated and the required usage is met by March 31, 2022.
