How reliable is this service? | As long as the account number is considered valid by the receiving financial institution, the transaction will be processed. Make sure that you get the correct account details from your beneficiary. If funds were not received by your beneficiary, it is possible there were interconnectivity issues with BancNet and the receiving financial institution. | Funds will be credited to your beneficiary with complete and correct beneficiary account number and/or account name. How to Send Money with PNB Digital?

Frequently Asked Questions
- What account/s can I use to transfer funds?
- You can use your debit, passbook, or checking account for as long as they are enrolled in PNB Digital Banking. Some deposit accounts may not be eligible as source of funds transfer transactions. Please reach out to your branch of account for more information on this.
- How much is the transfer fee per transaction?
- Transfer fee for both InstaPay and PESONet is Php20.
- How much is the limit per transfer?
- PESONet has a limit of PhP100,000 while InstaPay has a limit of PhP50,000 per transaction.
- How much is the limit of transfers per day?
- Daily transfer limit is PhP200,000 each for both PESONet and InstaPay.
- Until what time can I transfer the funds?
- You can transfer money anytime. However, crediting may vary depending on the service.
- InstaPay has no cut-off time and funds are expected to be credited real-time.
- For PESONet, crediting happens during banking days. All transfer requests must be made before 3PM during banking days for same day credit to the beneficiary account.
- What are the types of transfers that can be scheduled?
- You can set a one-time or a recurring scheduled fund transfers to your own PNB accounts, other PNB accounts and other bank accounts via InstaPay.
- What are the available frequencies for recurring transfers?
- You can set your scheduled transfers to be processed daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly and yearly.
- Who are eligible to use this feature?
- You can avail this feature if you have an active eligible CASA as source account. It is important that the account status must be active and sufficiently funded to cover the amount and applicable fees at the time of the scheduled transaction processing.
- How can I monitor my pending scheduled transactions?
- To check the status of your scheduled requests, access the app, go to More and tap Manage Transactions. Tap Scheduled Transfer tab. All pending transactions will be displayed.
- Can I still cancel my scheduled transfer? How?
- You can still cancel your request before the set scheduled date. To cancel your request, go to More and tap Manage Transactions. Tap Scheduled Transfer tab. To cancel, either swipe left on the transaction card or tap the specific transaction, then tap the Delete icon.
- How will I know if my pending scheduled transactions were processed?
- We advise you to regularly monitor your scheduled transactions. You will receive an email notification and SMS to your registered email address and mobile number once the transaction has been processed. In case of unsuccessful transactions, we advise to transact immediately to avoid any penalty.
- How soon are funds credited to the receiving bank or eWallet?
- For PESONet transactions, your beneficiary will receive the funds depending on when the transfer request was made:
- For requests made before 3:00PM on banking days, credit is expected on the same day
- For requests made 3:00PM onwards on banking days, credit is expected on the next banking day
- For requests made on non-banking days, weekends, or holidays, credit is expected on the next banking day
- For InstaPay transactions, the funds will immediately be credited to the beneficiary account.
- What is an Account QR Code?
- An Account QR Code is a matrix bar code generated by PNB Digital for you to be able to share your Philippine Peso-denominated account details safely.
- What can I use the QR code for?
- You may use your QR code to request money from a payee by sharing your account QR code.
- You can send money to another bank account or pay your favorite online and in-store shops by scanning or uploading QR Ph codes
- What are the benefits of having a QR code?
- Generating a QR code for your accounts will enable you to request money from anyone without having to give your account number making payments fast and secure. It also ensures that the payee will send money to the correct account.
- How can I transfer money via QR code?
- You can send money by scanning or uploading your Payee’s QR code from PNB or other financial institutions with an InstaPay logo. Fees may apply for transfers to Non-PNB accounts.
Instapay - How can I pay via QR code?
- You can pay to any in-store or online shops that have QR code with a QR Ph logo. No fees are charged for QR Ph payments.
QR Ph - How to do I generate a QR Code for my PNB accounts?
- Can I reverse my fund transfer transaction?
- Once the transaction has been successful and debited from your account, the transaction you wish to cancel cannot be reverted.
- Will there be instances for unsuccessful credit to the receiving bank or eWallet?
- For PESONet transactions, the final credit to the beneficiary account may not be successfully processed by the receiving financial institution for several reasons such as:
- Invalid payee account number (may be incorrect, closed, dormant, blocked, frozen)
- There is a mismatch with the the beneficiary account name submitted compared to the records of the receiving financial institution
- The currency of the payee account is not a qualified PHP account
- For InstaPay transactions, if funds were not received by your beneficiary, it is possible there were interconnectivity issues with BancNet and the receiving financial institution.
- How will the funds be returned to me if the interbank funds transfer transaction was not credited to the receiving bank?
- For PESONet transactions, the fund transfer amount, net of transaction fee, will be credited back to your source account as soon as the funds are returned to us by the receiving financial institution.
- For InstaPay transactions, allow up to 2 to 3 banking days for either the funds be credited to your beneficiary or returned to your PNB account.
- I have transferred money to the wrong account. How do I attempt to recover the funds?
- As long as a valid account number is provided, the transaction will be final and can no longer be cancelled. We encourage you to obtain the correct account information from your payee to make your transaction hassle-free.
- What should I do if my funds transfer transaction is unsuccessful?
- You can report transactional problems/errors by contacting PNB through Customer Care (+632) 8573-8888 / customercare@pnb.com.ph or visit a PNB branch near you.

How reliable is this service? | As long as the account number is considered valid by the receiving financial institution, the transaction will be processed. Make sure that you get the correct account details from your beneficiary. How to Send Money with PNB Digital?

You have the option to schedule your transfers for a future date or set it to repeat daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly or annually.

Frequently Asked Questions
- What account/s can I use to transfer funds?
- You can use your debit, passbook, or checking account for as long as they are enrolled in PNB Digital Banking. Some deposit accounts may not be eligible as source of funds transfer transactions. Please reach out to your branch of account for more information on this.
- How much is the transfer fee per transaction?
- Transfer fee for both InstaPay and PESONet is Php20.
- How much is the limit per transfer?
- PESONet has a limit of PhP100,000 while InstaPay has a limit of PhP50,000 per transaction.
- How much is the limit of transfers per day?
- Daily transfer limit is PhP200,000 each for both PESONet and InstaPay.
- Until what time can I transfer the funds?
- You can transfer money anytime. However, crediting may vary depending on the service.
- InstaPay has no cut-off time and funds are expected to be credited real-time.
- For PESONet, crediting happens during banking days. All transfer requests must be made before 3PM during banking days for same day credit to the beneficiary account.
- What are the types of transfers that can be scheduled?
- You can set a one-time or a recurring scheduled fund transfers to your own PNB accounts, other PNB accounts and other bank accounts via InstaPay.
- What are the available frequencies for recurring transfers?
- You can set your scheduled transfers to be processed daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly and yearly.
- Who are eligible to use this feature?
- You can avail this feature if you have an active eligible CASA as source account. It is important that the account status must be active and sufficiently funded to cover the amount and applicable fees at the time of the scheduled transaction processing.
- How can I monitor my pending scheduled transactions?
- To check the status of your scheduled requests, access the app, go to More and tap Manage Transactions. Tap Scheduled Transfer tab. All pending transactions will be displayed.
- Can I still cancel my scheduled transfer? How?
- You can still cancel your request before the set scheduled date. To cancel your request, go to More and tap Manage Transactions. Tap Scheduled Transfer tab. To cancel, either swipe left on the transaction card or tap the specific transaction, then tap the Delete icon.
- How will I know if my pending scheduled transactions were processed?
- We advise you to regularly monitor your scheduled transactions. You will receive an email notification and SMS to your registered email address and mobile number once the transaction has been processed. In case of unsuccessful transactions, we advise to transact immediately to avoid any penalty.
- How soon are funds credited to the receiving bank or eWallet?
- For PESONet transactions, your beneficiary will receive the funds depending on when the transfer request was made:
- For requests made before 3:00PM on banking days, credit is expected on the same day
- For requests made 3:00PM onwards on banking days, credit is expected on the next banking day
- For requests made on non-banking days, weekends, or holidays, credit is expected on the next banking day
- For InstaPay transactions, the funds will immediately be credited to the beneficiary account.
- What is an Account QR Code?
- An Account QR Code is a matrix bar code generated by PNB Digital for you to be able to share your Philippine Peso-denominated account details safely.
- What can I use the QR code for?
- You may use your QR code to request money from a payee by sharing your account QR code.
- You can send money to another bank account or pay your favorite online and in-store shops by scanning or uploading QR Ph codes
- What are the benefits of having a QR code?
- Generating a QR code for your accounts will enable you to request money from anyone without having to give your account number making payments fast and secure. It also ensures that the payee will send money to the correct account.
- How can I pay via QR code?
- You can pay to any in-store or online shops that have QR code with a QR Ph logo. No fees are charged for QR Ph payments.
QR Ph - How can I transfer money via QR code?
- You can send money by scanning or uploading your Payee’s QR code from PNB or other financial institutions with an InstaPay logo. Fees may apply for transfers to Non-PNB accounts.
Instapay - How to do I generate a QR Code for my PNB accounts?
- Can I reverse my fund transfer transaction?
- Once the transaction has been successful and debited from your account, the transaction you wish to cancel cannot be reverted.
- Will there be instances for unsuccessful credit to the receiving bank or eWallet?
- For PESONet transactions, the final credit to the beneficiary account may not be successfully processed by the receiving financial institution for several reasons such as:
- Invalid payee account number (may be incorrect, closed, dormant, blocked, frozen)
- There is a mismatch with the the beneficiary account name submitted compared to the records of the receiving financial institution
- The currency of the payee account is not a qualified PHP account
- For InstaPay transactions, if funds were not received by your beneficiary, it is possible there were interconnectivity issues with BancNet and the receiving financial institution.
- How will the funds be returned to me if the interbank funds transfer transaction was not credited to the receiving bank?
- For PESONet transactions, the fund transfer amount, net of transaction fee, will be credited back to your source account as soon as the funds are returned to us by the receiving financial institution.
- For InstaPay transactions, allow up to 2 to 3 banking days for either the funds be credited to your beneficiary or returned to your PNB account
- I have transferred money to the wrong account. How do I attempt to recover the funds?
- As long as a valid account number is provided, the transaction will be final and can no longer be cancelled. We encourage you to obtain the correct account information from your payee to make your transaction hassle-free.
- What should I do if my funds transfer transaction is unsuccessful?
- You can report transactional problems/errors by contacting PNB through Customer Care (+632) 8573-8888 / customercare@pnb.com.ph or visit a PNB branch near you.
