PNB named Best Bank for Investment Research by Asiamoney
(June 16, 2021) — Philippine National Bank (PSE: PNB) was recognized by Asiamoney as the Best Bank for Investment Research in the Philippines during its Private Banking Awards today.

Asiamoney said that in less than two years, the investment research team of PNB has made itself indispensable to the country’s rich who want data and information about popular stocks, sectors, and the economy. The report also said, “This focus proved critical during the pandemic, when markets were in turmoil. PNB’s research reports offered timely insight into stocks and possible investment opportunities.”
The recognition is a credit to PNB’s strong Investment Research. The research conducted by the team is established as an important resource for various investment focused business units and subsidiaries of PNB. “We take this award as an inspiration to continue to support the Bank in its client relationship building,” PNB Bank Economist and Head of Research Alvin Arogo said.
The award is a milestone for the Bank as this is the first international recognition for its research initiatives. From April 2020 to March 2021, the team published 178 reports covering economic and equity research providing up-to-date investment ideas to PNB’s wealth management clients and other key customers. Moreover, the team provided pre-deal research work for various deal executions of PNB Capital and Investment Corporation such as Ayala Land REIT, Converge ICT, Double Dragon Meridian Park (DDMP) REIT, and MerryMart.
