PNB Partners with PSSLAI

Philippine National Bank (PNB), one of the country’s largest commercial banks and Public Safety Savings and Loan Association Inc. (PSSLAI), the exclusive savings and loan association of the Philippine National Police (PNP) have entered into an agreement to provide efficient and immediate transfer of funds to its members and their families.

PSSLAI partnered with PNB to enhance their service delivery of its savings and loans proceeds. Through the PNB-PSSLAI ATM card, PSSLAI members will be able to receive funds from PSSLAI in a faster and secure way. By opening an account with PNB, each PSSLAI member will receive a free ATM card which has no opening and maintaining balance required. The PNB-PSSLAI ATM card also functions like a local ATM card which can be used for regular bank transactions, bills payment and cashless shopping. PSSLAI members who avail of and activate their PNB-PSSLAI ATM card from October 1, 2012 to June 15, 2013 have a chance to win Sony Xperia cellphones or cellphone loads during the minor draws. For the grand draw, 4 Honda Wave 100 Motorcycles and 1 Toyota Vios 2012 are at stake for all qualified PSSLAI members. PNB’s partnership with PSSLAI is the first joint venture between both parties. Through this program, PNB aims to show the bank’s commitment to provide necessary solutions to the financial needs of the country’s public servants.

The partnership was sealed during the recent signing ceremony by PSSLAI represented by its Vice Chairman, Police Director Lucas Managuelod (Ret.); President, Police Director Ernesto Belen (Ret.) and Vice President, Elieza Galvante and by PNB Chairman of the Board, Flor Tarriela; Senior Vice President & North Metro Manila Region Head, Carina Salonga; and Senior Assistant Vice President & Metro 4 Area Head, Zed Matubis.
