PNB wins two awards from PDS Group

14 April 2023 — PNB received recognition again during the 18th Philippine Dealing System (PDS) Annual Awards Night held at Makati Diamond Residences last March 30 for its strong contribution to the growth and stability of local financial markets.

The Bank was cited as the Top 2 Fixed-Income Brokering Participant that garnered the highest total volume turnover of securities transacted by face amount. PNB was also named as the Top 5 Fixed-Income Cash Settlement Bank for generating the highest volume for the year as measured by the total number of fixed-income transactions settled for PDEx Trading Participants who are non-demand deposit account holders at the Central Bank.

PNB was represented in the awards night by key officers of the Global Banking & Markets Sector led by FSVP and Global Markets Group Head Noel Malabag and SVP and Global Markets Sales Division Head Ma. Lourdes Liwag.

Held annually since 2006, the PDS Group Awards Night recognizes member institutions that have exhibited outstanding performance, leadership, innovation, and continued pursuit in contributing to the growth, development, and stability of the Philippine financial markets.
