- Deposits in any currencies and of any type are insured by the Philippine Insurance Corporation (PDIC) up to a maximum amount of PHP 500,000 per depositor.

*Non-Resident Alien NRA (whose residence is not in the Philippines and who is not a citizen thereof.) who wishes to open a Peso Account also need to bring a proof of residence here in Japan. It can be any of the following address bearing ID/document:
- Japanese Driver’s License
- Japanese Health Insurance
- Japan Residence Certificate
- Basic Resident Registration Card "Jumin Kihon Daicho"
- Recent Utility Bill (Electric, Gas, Water or Telephone)
